Annual vs. monthly billing
Understand the difference between annual and monthly billing in Conduitly, and how to switch between them.
The difference
Both billing frequencies give you the same plan features and task allowances. The difference is how often you're charged and what you pay overall.
- Monthly billing: charged each month at the monthly rate. Easier to cancel with minimal commitment.
- Annual billing: charged once per year at a discounted rate, equivalent to saving approximately two months compared to paying monthly.
Annual billing makes sense if you're confident Conduitly is part of your regular workflow and want to reduce the cost. Monthly billing makes sense if you're still evaluating or prefer flexibility.
How to check your current billing frequency
Go to Settings → Billing in the sidebar. In the Subscription section, your Term Start Date and Term End Date show the length of your current billing period. A one-month span indicates monthly billing, a twelve-month span indicates annual billing.
You can also see your billing frequency when you click the Change Plan button. The Billing dropdown shows your current setting.
How to switch billing frequency
1. Go to Settings → Billing
Click Settings in the sidebar, then click Billing.
2. Click Change Plan
In the Subscription section, click the blue Change Plan button.
3. Update the Billing field
In the Change Plan modal, use the Billing dropdown to switch between Monthly and Annual (or equivalent options shown). The Plan dropdown will update to reflect the pricing for your chosen frequency.
4. Click Save
Click the blue Save button to apply the change.
What to expect when switching
- Monthly to annual: your annual term begins immediately and you're charged the annual rate. Any unused time on your current monthly period will be prorated. Contact support if you have questions about proration.
- Annual to monthly: after your current annual term ends, your billing cycle will switch to monthly going forward.
