Invite a team member

Learn how to add a new user to your Conduitly account so they can view or collaborate on workflows.

Before you begin

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • A Team or Business plan. User management is not available on Individual or Pro plans, which are single-user. If you don't see Settings → Users in the sidebar, your plan doesn't include this feature. See Upgrade or change your plan.
  • Administrator role. Only Administrators can add new users
  • The new user's name, email address, and phone number

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Users

Click Settings in the sidebar, then click Users. This opens the Users page showing all current team members.

2. Click + Add New User

Click the blue + Add New User button in the top-left corner. This opens the User form as a new page.

3. Fill in the user's details

Enter the following fields:

  • Last Name and First Name
  • Email: this will be the new user's login email
  • Phone Number

Leave the Status toggle set to Active (green) so the user can sign in straight away.

4. Assign a role

Click the + Add Role button. The Add Role modal opens.

Set the following fields:

  • Role: select the role for this user, User or Administrator (see User roles and permissions for the difference)
  • User Group: select the user group for this user or leave as the default if no custom user types are defined.
  • Active: set to Yes (green)

Click Save to add the role. It will appear in the role table on the User form.

5. Save the new user

Click the blue Save button at the bottom of the User form. The new user is added and appears in the Users list.

What to expect next

Once you save the new user, Conduitly automatically sends them an invitation email containing a link to set up their own password and sign in for the first time.

Once they've completed setup, they'll have access based on the role you assigned.

  • User roles and permissions
  • Removing or transferring access
  • Managing shared vs. personal workflows
  • Upgrade or change your plan
